Almonacid de la Cuba is one of the villages of Campo de Belchite with the most charm, due to its 1st century Roman dam and also the physiognomy of the actual municipality. Casa Goya, one of the first rural tourism houses to be established in the area, is located in one of the streets, which are a testimony to its Muslim past.
Casa Goya opened its doors on 15 May 2006 and since then many tourists have spent time in this house, with capacity for eight people. Divided into two floors, the entire house can be rented, although it is distributed into three apartments.
There are two apartments on the first floor of the house, whose names have been taken from Goya's paintings. The first of them is El Cacharrero, with one double bedroom, an equipped kitchen, a living room with a fire, to make autumn and winter stays more pleasant, and a complete bathroom. Bearing the name of one of the painter’s most famous paintings, we find the La Maja apartment, comprised of a kitchen-diner, double bedroom and bathroom.
The second floor houses the La Merienda apartment, with a kitchen-diner, one bedroom, bathroom and a terrace with views of the centre of Almonacid de la Cuba, with its winding streets. The double room, La Gallinita Ciega, is also located on this floor.
